Pain?
« on: January 06, 2012, 02:58:00 PM »
Anyone ever get a sharp pain in their palm just below the base of their thumb when drawing their bow?

It's an intermittent pain, but feels like my hand is being cut open when it hits. It's not like I'm shooting much, so I'm not sure what is causing it.

sounds like a nerve. are you shooting a heavy draw weight? try drawing with the opposite hand and see if its the same on both hands.
