Winter Workshop
« on: January 11, 2012, 10:04:00 AM »
As Winter made its way in and the temps started dropping my uninsulated workshop off the garage started getting colder and is now officialy freezing.     It also accumulated outdoor items that needed to be brought inside. I slowly brought items into the house and now have a tiny (archery) workshop in a room about the size of most walkin closets. Here I'll be making all my arrows. Hunting, 3D, Stumpin for the upcoming good weather as well as doing some leather work. I also might tie a fly or two...(can we say that?)

A little cramped but seems to be working so far.

At least you have a space inside, I have boxes of arrows adding accent to the top of the kitchen cabunets and fridge. With three kids I could only dream of having a closet shop let alone a chair of my own. Gladd you have the warmth of the house to work in that should mean really nice arrows and pics I hope. And as long as you use hair from a deer tail shot with trad gear the flys should be ok.

Nice, I have a 5'x 5' area enclosed between two carports. No chairs, just standing room only. The one good thing is that it only takes a single burner colman stove to heat it in mins.  I hope yours works good for ya and I could use some new bass flies.
