Looks like a good arrow, and with walls that thick have to be super tough as the test shows...but $155 bucks for a Gold tip arrow that's still just .006 seems a little steep.

Anyway, I'm sure it will find a niche with the extra heavy arrow fans    :clapper:

I saw these a while ago on the Kustom King website and thought the same as you Curt.  But for those who can afford them, I'm sure they will be great.  I can get 2 dozen CX 150's with 100 grain brass inserts for that price and could afford to lose a few at the 3D shoots though   :archer2:

I started out with woods. Kill alot of Animals. Been shooting carbons for a long time. Nothing wrong with carbons. You shoot what you like. But going back to woods, its just who I am. And yes, little high. I know that custom woods can be high to.

Way too expensive for me. Besides, if you really need that kind of weight it would be better to put it up front where it will facilitate penetration.

T me they look no different tan other carbon arrows... Other than the weight. The only carbon I ever shot, and still have some of them, are the Grizzly Stick from ABS. They are heavy and do put the weight in front by being tapered... That said, they are pretty pricey as well and now made in china.... Wood for me please!

You 're right GURU,  at least oversea there is  a niche for those expensive shaft ... the minimal 465 gr arrow of french legislation about bowhunting and french  traditionnal bow hunter using a 45 / 55 trad bow and not in love with EFOC ... for them to get a 465 grains carbon arrow in 500 spine is almost impossible, this new 13.5 GPI spine 500 will help them ...

personnaly i use much cheaper carbon shaft, the gold tip traditionnal are great and very tought to break specialy with a 2 inches 22/16 of external footing in front ... i shoot only 47 pounds to my draw and fortunatly for me i'm a big fan of EFOC so i've no trouble to get the our legal 465 grains for bow hunting with 400 spine and weight in front !!!

Although they look to be a great alternative arrow shaft, for that price I'll stick with my GT Trads & Blems from Big Jim.
With footing them with a piece of aluminum shafting will make the tip end just as tough & still come out with twice the arrows per $$$.

Eugene, in Roanoke we have too many arrows lost under the leaves to put out a huge amount for the shafts...or is that a reflection on my acuracy? Roy from Sherwood

Did anyone ever figure out is this per 1/2 dozen?
Expensive, but easier to take if it were for a full dozen.

1/2 dozen, $77.50 not that out of line when you compare them,

Carbon Express Maxima blue streak 1/2 dozen $79.99

Easton Axis Full Metal Jacket 1/2 dozen $69.95

Arrow Dynamics Hammer Head 1/2 dozen $64.99

They should be some nice shafts
