New Liberty Contender
« on: January 21, 2012, 12:31:00 AM »
I just received my new Liberty Contender. Allen was a pleasure to work with and the bow looks and shoots great. It has a beautiful cocobola riser with bamboo limbs. I just wanted to let people know if your looking for a nice longbow give Allen a call. I know pitures would be nice but I can't figure out how to post them.

I owned one of his Chief models several years ago. Very high quality bow. Congrats on your new bow!

I agree Smitty. Allen's new designs are great. I have the Contender and a matching Edge. They are both great shooters!

Mike, Thank you for your offer. I sent some pictures over to you.
Ringneck and Snag, Your right on with the quality. I dropped 5 lbs in draw weight and haven't really noticed any loss of performance.

I have owned 3 of Allen's bows in the past, and I wished I would have never sold them.
Allen is a great bowyer and fine man.

Great way to start the year!

Yes Sir,  Allen is a great craftsman and makes beautiful bows.  They have very crisp and clean "attention to detail" lines..
