Armguard & knife combo
« on: January 23, 2012, 08:09:00 PM »
I just ordered my Hunter backquiver from Mikes and was thinking about getting a nice armguard knife combo.  Let's see your arm guard sheths!! Also suggestions on knife and knife types.  I would like something nicer than a store bought Buck knife but can't afford a $400 Damascaus or would take an expensive knife like that in the woods for fear of losing it or getting it messed up.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions and pics!

Check out Scott with Wyoming wildlife artistry, very nice work and well placed useful little knife. Also a sponsor, so double bonus.

Here's a knife Jeff Springer aka "tippit" made for me in conjunction with a "custom" A/G sheath made to fit it by Tim Roberts, a sponsor here.

Jayb, you can call or e-mail but I'm pretty sure the price includes the knife.  It was amazing to me that he can offer it at such a great deal.  I'm sure the prices can rise with knife chosen.

Here is one Tim Roberts did for me.  I sent him this Doug Campbell caper and he had the combo back to me in about a week.

Here are some pictures of my hidden knife combo. You can see more in the sponsor classifieds. The knife rides under the armguard for a clean snag free product. I have a bunch out there and they all love em.

Classic Supreme Tooled basket stamp cognac with natural canvas micata.

Classic Supreme tooled basket stamp Chestnut with Black Micarta

I sent the last 3 with Chad Holms to Kalamazoo. I will have to make up a new batch. Scott
