K-zoo trad show vs Huntin' time expo in GR....?
«

I know what they are.
....and I'm REALLY BUMMED I can't make it to either.
People shouldn't really have to choose.
They're the biggest shows around...and you have to choose...lol
I don't know if any organizers of either events use this site, but it sure would seem smart to talk with each other and try to come up with separate weekends for the shows.
Might have a better turnout for both.
Thanks

Another way to look at it is, the people that have to travel a ways , can make two great shows in one weekend. I am less than an hour from both so I hope to make em both.

For me the Hunt Time Expo is a waste of time. Unless your looking for a some what decent deal on a guided/outfitted hunt. I live 30 mins from Grand Rapids and have only made it to that show 1 time.

I agree. Other than the new Puppy alley that the HTE is having this year, it's a waste.

I also went to the G.R show one time and that was enough. Not even a close comparison to the Kazoo show.
If its trad its at the Kazoo show.

Honestly I have never been to the GR show and I problebly won't. K-zoo has so much stuff and I would much rather go to k-zoo than travel an hour.

Actually it is geared for the wheelie bow tech junkies. However I go every year as Mr. Fishell pointed out I have got a couple good leads on outfitters their. Also several of my friends have booths their and I go to visit with them. I have also made some other great contacts there that have been a good fit.
I wouldn't say it's a waste of time, especialy if your an outdoorsman. Since I live 25 minutes away it is well worth my time. However if I had to choose one over the other it would be hands down the Kazoo show.

Don't get me wrong guys...
I'd rather go to the trad show if given a choice.
but why have to choose.
I can understand the reply about making a weekend out of it and going to both.

I have been to the show in GR once. I don't miss the Kzoo expo. However, you have to add the GR car show to the list because that is this weekend also. I am thinking about going up on Saturday afternoon for that after Friday night and first half of the day Saturday at the Kzoo Expo.

It looks like I'm pulling a double. Trad show Saturday, Huntin' Time Expo Sunday. I've never been to the trad show and am really looking forward to it. The expo is more of a ritual. I never spend much money, but always leave with big dreams.

I'm lucky. The K-Zoo trad show is in January and The Ohio Deer and Turkey Expo is in March. No conflict, plus the Deer and Turkey Expo is always on my birthday weekend! Did I mention they have a few trad items at the March Expo too?
