Help: Recommended Brace Heights Needed

FOR DATABASE OF 157 BOWS.

Last year sponsors, TG members and others helped to create a Bow center-cut database. The list is now over 150 and I posted the updated version yesterday.  http://heilakka.com/Bowcentercut.pdf

A couple guys asked about a Brace height list. What a great Idea!!

Here is my request. Download the Center-cut pdf

Sponsors:If the bows you build are on the list please provide me with recommended brace height.
If your bows are not on list and would like them included please provide name, center cut and brace height.

Shooters: If the bow you shoot is on the list and you know recommended brace height please provide the information.
If the bow you shoot is not on list and your are positive about center cut and brace height please provide the information.

I will monitor this post and PM's and update the database.

When the Martin Savannah first came out in 2004 the brace height was given as 6.75 - 7.5 inches. Now they say 6.25 - 7.0 inches. Your list shows it as 0 center cut. I have 3 of them from 07 and 08 and they are _not_ center cut.

Broken Arrows thanks I have a call into Martin.

Joel from Martin says the center cut is not standard and can vary from 0 to +1/8 depending on who on the line is finishing the bow.

I realize they are hand finished, but some standardization on the amount of center cut would be nice?

I got lucky I guess; all mine are +1/8.
