You know...  I live in the Flathead, the legend of Schaf is still around.  I never met the man, but it was his history and stories that made me give up the compound and hunt with a recurve.  I've shot more than a few Paul made 'tips, and I admit the extra mojo that gives a bow is pretty cool.

But I gotta say, I think Dave is a better bowyer, and he's a for real bowhunter as well.  Sometimes I don't know how he stays in the shadows.

Wish they still made the riser shape that Paul did,I think it had a much better look! JMO.

For sure it has a lot of appeal and some historical value,but for me Dave's bows have a better design!IMO
