I'll confess I own shoot and hunt with other bowyers bows sometimes.  I do have a few go to bows that I built but somedays other bowyers bows get their ticket punched.  I respect others work as it is truly a work of art.   Others I have are jack Kempf, wingnut, bob sarrels, big Jim just to name a few.

I build all natural lam bows and self bows. I always try to have one of my own for season and I also hunt with a Striker and a few other all wood bows made by other folks.

I just like to be in the woods with a bow and I grab what ever I'm in the mood for on any given day and go to woods.

any wood bow I pick off the rack.

Last year Greg in Mallad and I made a bow swap, Greg makes some awsome bows, I would be foolish not to shoot it. I hunted with it last year.
I have plenty of my own that I like too but I think its a good idea to shoot other peoples bows.... you never know you could learn somthing.

I have two of Tim Mieggs bows. One recurve and one longbow.Only shoot and hunt with my own.I shoot a long draw(31") not all bow designs fit me well at that draw.If I wasn't a bowyer  I know a few I could shoot just fine,Fox archery  ".High Sierra",Tim's Du-o-Flex longbow.Shot one of George's Rainyday bows the other day and could shoot it fine too.Wouldn't mind having a collection of all the bowyer buddies I know bows.

I have held many nice bows built by others and I own over 100 used bows for resale but don't even have time to shoot mine much less any others.

I keep my eyes open hoping to find an old super Kodiak in the 70+lb range just for the fun of it.
I am also fond of the Black Widow PLX. I still have the last one they made for me. Honestly haven't shot too many others.

Oddly enough, everytime I build myself a new bow, someone wants to buy it even though they are all about 80+lb at my draw. Since every bow has a price, this means I never have to shoot an old one.
