latest award arrow
« on: February 06, 2012, 10:33:00 PM »
The guys at work are having a weight loss contest, and couldn't come up with a prize, so I volunteered to make an award arrow for the winner.

This was my first attempt at snake skinning an arrow.  I got the skins from Snakewood3 from here on TG.  If you are in need of skins, he is the man.

I think this will make for a happy winner.

Thank you for the advise when I asked for it.  I started this one as a "test" shaft Bout 6 months ago, and it got me addicted to skins and there are quite a few of them skinned now waiting for their finish.  To me, it just looks flat out cool, and was a whole lot easier that I could have ever imagined.  In other words, I was WAY overthinking it.
