Different broadhead this year?
« on: July 22, 2007, 11:45:00 PM »
Just wondering how many of ya'll are going to be using a different broadhead this year?  Is it because of penetration, bloodtrails (or lack of) or just want to try something else?  Just curious.
They exchanged the truth of GOD for a lie,and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator-who is forever praised.Amen Romans 1:25 NIV

I'm new to traditional archery as of last February. So it's all new to me...I've got two different broad heads I'm working with right now. the first is a 140 grain Steel Force 2 blade glue on. I'm going to use those with laminated birch arrows hopefully. The second is are wicked looking things called Land Sharks, 160 grain two blade. I'm mounting those on Doug fir shafts I'm building myself from scratch. this is going to be a whole different ball game shooting heavy arrows with two blade broad heads. this has been a serious challenge to adjust too, but I'm really enjoying it....
