I managed to shoot two this past season. One was sitting on a fence post, and the other I shot as it took off from the ground. It was about 5 or 6 feet in the air when I knocked his feathers off. They were targets of opportunity and I wasn't specifically hunting them.

I can hit them with my shotgun in flight pretty consistent.Would need a bunch of arrows for my longbow.LOl.Also i better go buy a chicken at the store for backup to eat.

Nothing but head shots!     :D    :D    Ha!!! I swear I've had them buggers look at the arrow over their shoulder and move out the way and laugh! Dove laugh? Coo hoo, hoo, hoo! Coo,hoo,hoo,hoo! Have fun!!!!!!!!!!
