Need a bow doc
« on: February 08, 2012, 09:40:00 PM »
Who out there is a bow doc. I have a woodland traditions recurve. Which is now a checkmate. Same bow but that is what it was called back in the day. Made in Canada 3 piece takedown. I got the bow from my day a while back and he drilled a hole in the riser for a site    :scared:   I know kinda crazy but is there anyone out there that could fix that and refinish it and just give it a good onceover and see if any thing else is wrong with it. I really love this bow it shoots like a dream and I shot my first bow deer with it. I will keep it forever and would like it refreshed.
Thanks
Jeff

Check with Joe Larsch(Whip) he has the bow hospital and is in the process of passing ownership. He could help you out and give you direction.
