Don't have pic of the Epic recurve limbs but here is my 17" Epic riser.  Really like it but would like to see the limb pockets enclosed.  Big Jim did the grip.

The problem with enclosed limb pockets on a wood ILF riser is they are easily damaged unless you make the riser overly thick and blocky.

That depends on how thick you make them and where you end the enclosed pockets. We have never had an issue with our enclosed pockets.

A new addition to my small stable...but a real sweet shooting rig...

Modified Browning Compound wood riser...skinned Morrison W&W limbs...soon to be some custom long bow limbs...

Here is the new Apex and the limb pockets are enclosed somewhat

WTPOPS,

What a great looking riser!

You have got to be counting the days till you limbs show up.

Wow some real beauts here. WTPOPS how did you get your wife to let you start at the apex of ILF bows?...that border riser may be the nicest I've seen. Hex 6 limbs many say are amoung the best anywhere. When you get it all together shoot us another pic or two.
