Well I was looking for one of these bows and I found one locally but I was wondering if 28.5in draw is to long for the short length and how much would it be worth? It is in great shape and is newer.
Thanks

I don't know for sure but it may be to short to shoot accurately at your draw length. My general rule of thumb is to shoot a bow at least twice your draw length.

I don't think that a 28.5 inch draw is too long for that bow, the only way you'll know is to try it. I have one but my draw is only 26 1/2" and have no problems with it, but it's also only a 45# pull.

Shoot it first if you can. I have one and 28" draw is pushing it for me. Mine is 60#. I can feel some stack.

It is a 45# bow which i am happy about. I have thought about the finger pinch aspect and I will shoot it some first. how is the quality of it?

The quality of mine is 9.75 out of 10. Some simple finish quirks I see in the clearcoat but other than that it's good. I got mine new. it is a 2011 bow.

In my opinion you should be fine at 28.5. As far as the value, all depends on the year and the bows condition. Be sure to check for twisted limbs. They're very common on the older, shorter bows.

Just shot it today! I couldn't believe how small it was! It had almost no stack for me and was very smooth, didnt notice the shortness. I am pretty sure im going to get it, it sure would be great out here in the desert doing spot and stalk.

Thanks for the info Frank! I am going to shoot it some more before I decide, I have been hunting with a compund and recurve as well so getting back into the swing of things has been a little tough, lol.
