YES the brace height was like 1.1/2" low --BUT how in the... you saw that?
the target points were 100-125 GR on arrows from 340-400-500 spine deflection , with 5" shield and parabolic left wing fletched by me ,
BUT tomorrow will adjust the brace height to 7-8"
and shoot more

I just had to adjust the brace height, fix the nock...

out of 3 strings 2 are not OK to shoot , so i took the brass nock from one and installed it on the good string , in the right place at the right brace height , i think

marked the nock point on the serving with silver marker for future reference

also put small marks on bow with silver marker for the string measurement for future Brace height adjustment [it can be cleaned easily if is a esthetic issue ]

NOW IS READY FOR SOME REAL TESTIN

Gabe, man that is a hell of a review! I almost felt like I was fixing up the bow, but of course you know I didn't.

I also like the scenery - BMW 2002 (?), assistant and bamboo jungle.

I also noted the 2 broken strings and thought the brace height wasn't good, but my SXT is a short brace height.

Let us know how the tuned up bow shoots!

Well, it landed in NW Montana today.

I'm about to shoot it here shortly. My first impressions are, I might have found a longbow I can get along with.

What can I say. I guess for a longbow, its pretty cool. I'm just a Schafer recurve kind of guy. I definately noticed some stacking compared to what I'm used too

It did shoot to where I was looking though. My first 2 arrows from 17ish yards (back of the kitchen)

That raised a few eyebrows with bow-peeps

Thought it'd be faster with a 425 grain arrow at my 27" draw.

It would have been in the mail Thursday, but things got crazy at work. My bad :(
