All the arrows I make for guys are Surewood Shafts unless they specify another type. My experience with them is that they are top on my list. These guys know wood and are meticulous in their production of shafts.

I have not bought Fir from 3Rivers but got lots from Surewood and their Fir is simply amazing. Every shaft becomes an arrow!

I've had two kinds. One I knew were Surewoods and the others I had no idea what kind.  It was almost night and day as far as quality.  The no-names made good arrows, the Surewoods made exceptional arrows.

Surewoods are the only choice in Fir.  Straight, uniform in diameter.  Simply the best shafts on the market!

Surewoods are the absolute best in my opinion. Never had a crooked shaft and consistent in weight.

Pretty much sums up your question.

That being said, I have never bought shafts from 3Rivers.  The only shaft I buy and use now are Surewood douglas fir, and have been for the last 2 years.
