arrow/spine question????

Does putting a weight tube in a carbon arrow change the spine?  I was thinking about boosting the shaft weight 3 gpi.

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

I have tried the tubes (2gpp) with the CX heritage and grizzlysticks and did not effect spine for me.
