I think the platinum is all you can get, and it works better in my opinion.

I had a post about the platinum not long ago, used duco, acetone for cleaner, and steel wool to prep, feathers fall off in damp weather.

Correct. The "old" bohning glue is no more.

BTW, I've never had problems with the new platinum.
