Past Situation: Although I have been teaching sciences for 16 years now, I have been working at a much more demanding school this year...and my parents had some health issues last year. It was a bit of an "educational experience" for me. I was once again reminded of Murphy's law, and last year was difficult for me to keep up with my intended delivery dates. Fortunately, I am just about completely caught up.
Current situation: I have three customers that have been waiting for a while for these bows...two of which are 80% done and will be shipped out next week...and the 3rd intended to be completed by the end of the month. Once this bow is completed...I will no longer be behind on orders.
, however, I will be shutting down production until we wrap up the school year...in June.
Future expectation: For 2012, we are limiting our CUSTOM orders to just summer production...at a rate of 1 bow per week. This is being done to prevent an accumulation of a list of people waiting too long for their bows. During the school year, we may OCCASIONALLY take an order or have an inventory bow offered for sale, but I don't wish to accumulate a waiting list during the school year, as I do not wish to keep customer's waiting too long during the following school year, which happened this school year.
Summer Schedule: At this time, I only have one bow on order for summer (June & July) production. After that...our summer production schedule will be open. Being the summer is when I am able to do most of my bow work...I would like to be sure to have a few on order before the summer gets here, but JUNE IS ONLY 2 & 1/2 MONTHS AWAY!
