Gharing recurve information needed
« on: March 26, 2012, 08:26:00 AM »
I recently picked up a Gharing Nontypical one piece recurve. It is 58" and 57@28. I need to know the brace height for this bow as it is a right hander and I am a lefty. I want to get it properly setup, possibly for my son, IF he can handle the weight.
Any opinions or other suggestions for these bows would also be appreciated. the limb tips are considerably built up so I imagine it is FF compatible, but I will stick w/ dacron to be safe.

Thanks, Doug
I had a really good group going... until I shot the second arrow.

My best bows are the ones someone else didn't want.

Hey Doug,

You can use FF no problem. I've owned a couple of them. I shot my 60" at about 7&1/2 ". They are nice bows.

Thanks Bob.

Are there any custom bows out there that you haven't owned?      :wavey:

Any other inputs on the Gharing bows?

Doug

best source for information is jon gharing...i have  talked to him on the phone in the past....he is a busy guy so hard to catch up with...you could just email him if he had a computer...of course if he had a computer he would not have built such gorgeous bows
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
