I wish we could have got a pic of all of the BHDs. The picture only shows about 25% of them. (all 160 gr.) Every flat surface we have in the shop was covered in Grizzly BHDs. It was really something to see and we couldn't resist taking a couple pics. To echo Bill's thoughts... Kudos to the US Postal Service!
It looks like both boxes busted open and rather than just toss everything (like some other carriers would have) the Postal employees gathered up as many as possible, rebagged and reboxed them and sent them on to me. We continue to receive small envelopes with 25-30 heads each every couple days. Someone asked who counted them... the answer is no-one. We just weighed the bags and divided the total weight by the individual BHD weight to get a rough idea how many there were. As for me going the extra mile... I don't quite see it that way. It would have cost another $120 to ship them back to Zipper and then back to us again, not to mention the time loss this would have incurred. Painting them ourselves was just the simplest solution and the fastest way to get them out to everyone who's waiting for them. BTW, the grind we're putting on them is far superior to the old grind and these are very easy to finish sharpening up. Thanks everyone. We'll get them out ASAP!
