Quick question about inserts and nocks
« on: March 30, 2012, 08:37:00 PM »
New to trad archery and was wondering if there is a set grain measurement system like points and broad heads pertaining to nocks and inserts or can I get a 46 grain insert and a 9 grain nock?

Thanks for any incite.

Craig

Nocks and insert weights vary by manufacturer.

Brass inserts come in different weights and sizes to fit just about anything.

Brass inserts are made in 50, 80, and 100 grain models. Most alluminum inserts are around 10-20 grains.
