I bought mine at my local department store in the sporting goods section.Alot of people there use them to check the speed on their paintball guns.

Larry, I have one. Talked to Mark about bringing it down to Bear State next time for fooling around. Missed you on Sunday. You're welcome to use it.

There's a BIG difference in chronographs. If you just want to check arrow speed, a $100 one will do fine. I used to shoot a lot of clay targets and chrono my handloads. I bought and use an Oehler skyscreen. It doesn't give the false readings common to cheaper units. With a cheapie, you need to figure out where the "Sweet spot" is in it. If you shoot towards the top or bottom of the window, it may give a false reading.
Is it too late to be what I could have been?
