My guess is that you are getting it too far up on the riser. If you strap it on the riser ramp then it can work it's way back off. If it's straped tightly at the end of the fadeout then it should stay there securely.

Rubber bands and double face tape work in extreme situations but should be a last resort. I have put dozens of these quivers on many bows and had no problem with slippage. Only when you put them on a bow with very narrow limbs (like a "Stick" longbow) should you have any problem that would require rubber bands or tape.

Let us know if the problem continues. If we can't resolve the problem then you are welcome to return it. You are quite welcome to call or email us to find a solution. It's better to contact the manufactuer first for solutions.

I was thinking some more about this.  I have the gemsbok horn on the riser and I'm wondering if this doesn't help keep mine in place by adding a little more width and grip, does yours have horn on the back at all?

If you've got a problem with an EFA quiver, "2fletch", otherwise known as Don Ward, is the man to contact. Rumor has it that Don has a personal interest in Eagle Flight Archery. Ha! Ha! Sure is nice to have friends in high places. Good luck solving your problem.

Alex,

I agree about the Totem system on the EFA quiver. It makes it very solid, but adds very little weight.  I love the two I have (on a Morrison recurve and a Shrew Classic Hunter).

The other thing I wondered when I saw you post was when the quiver you have was made.  The original EFA system was good, but difficult to get tight enough so it did not move on some bows.  Then, Don designed a new strap-on system he calls the "Talon," and it made a "good" quiver into a "great" one, for me.

If you look at his site, it should be fairly easy to see which you have.

Good luck.  If you get the details figured out, I think you will love it!
