slow motion video traditional shots
« on: April 14, 2012, 01:09:00 PM »
for those who could be interested I have done a bunch of videos at 1000fps of bows shot between 29.5 and 31" of draw length...a few of them are very heavy bows (80-100#)...    here!

just a few samples:

- with my 90#@28 border black douglas; very steady bow (she's shot right here at 97#@31): shot
- with my 80#@28 old border falcon; look at the handshock: shot
- with my 67#@28 shawnee (drawn at 28"):  shot
- with my 76#@28 fox breed:  shot
- with my 45#@28 hoyt f7 buffalo:  shot
- with my 90#@28 guy special: shot
- with my 45#@28 12"/64" ACS: shot
- with my 50#@28 14"/64 ACS:  shot
- with my 65#@28 border falcon:   shot

Nothing works on your first link?

for me it works fine: you have to wait a few time, that the video has ended downloading before you could see it on your computer.

Worked just fine for me--amazing videos.

What kind of camera are you using?

I've been using a Casio  EX-F1 pro and using this type of film for designing and testing limbs for quite awhile.

After watching these, when you hear the term "Limb Bulge" or "vertical instability" you know where it came from now.   ;)
