I have some sweet AO 2114's that I had set up for shooting through my R/D 46# longbow. These are swaged both ends, and they were shooting really nice at the bag in my yard. I took them out on a 3D course today, and BLAM! They are so flimsy that the swages break even in foam. Horrible experience with them today. I didn't even make all the way through the first round and was completely out of arrows. I carry 4 in the quiver, and that is generally more than enough for a day of 3D shooting.
Its a shame, too, because I was tuned in so nice. Oh, well, back to the drawing board. I'm thinking of getting me some of those Blue's now..

Yeah......1816 Blue's with 75 grainers out front. That should be pretty zingy, and deadly on little furry critters, too!

I would never have arrows with that thin of a wall swaged.
I've shot lots of 2117 and 2018's swaged and never had a problem.

Yeah, man. They are freakin flimsy. It sucks too--because they are shooting so nice.
