Fantastic!!  That is an incredible bird.  I hope you get a chance at the bigger one.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

My first bird was pretty special to me too, thus he's in my avitar picture.  Turkeys are so cool (and sometimes frustrating) to hunt.  The bonus is it comes at a time of year that bridges the gap to deer hunting season.

Congratulations on a dandy bird.

Way to go!  That sounds like an exciting hunt!  Just sitting in the blind with my son (JJB) the last few days has me ready to go.  Unfortunately, I still have to wait two weeks.  Thanks for sharing your great bird!     :clapper:

Did see the bigger bird this morning, he was roosted in the same tree, when he pitched down he went to the opposite field, not sure due to the fact his buddie is no longer there or the winds, but either way he looked like a 747 gliding out of that tree. He will have the next 11 days all to himself, and then I will back after him, have to head back to Indiana to start the pack out and get the family moved down here to Hendersonville, Tn. Will keep you posted on my hunt for the turkey I am calling "Wingspan"
