Glad to see other RER addicts here-will have to see what they bring down this fall!!
David, the 5575's should fly great with a heavier head-woodies I would be inclined to shoot 65-70#. Good luck with the Vortex-fine bows.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

My Vortex is 49#s at my 28.5" draw. It shoots 60-65# woodies very well. The 55/75s will be spinedtoo high unless ya weight them up quite a bit. I shoot a .500 deflection carbons off of mine with 175 grains up front.at 51#s with a 29" arrow I would shoot 65-70 woodies out of it with 145 grain heads. Shawn

My 53@28 shoots an Easton 500 Excel with 145 grains up cut at 30" and my 400 Excels at 31" with 190s.

Would anyone be interested in sending me a Vortex to try? Just asking....

If I wasn't getting ready to leave for a hunt I'd send you my backup.

Goldenhawk, really I was just kidding. It's really shows your generosity given you don't know me at all. I would take care of it and send it back. Those arrows mentioned above...how much do they weigh? Where is Polo, we hunt in Keensburg, IL?

Polo is in north cental IL. my Easton 400s are 493 grains and my 500s are 425 grains. I sent a brand new Vortex out for a test drive, so my old one wouldn't be a problem. Like I said though i'm getting ready for a hunt so they are both gonna stay home for awhile.
