Pretty Bow
« on: April 23, 2012, 01:05:00 AM »
I ran accross this little gem in the classifieds a couple of weeks ago. Did I need another bow ? nope.
But this bow really caught my eye and the price was right. Shes a Lewis Hollow 60" 49@28 .
This is the first recurve I've had in a while.
The reason for this thread is not only is she a looker (for me any way)but she shot lights out from the get. And she does it so ever smoothly with hunph.
The kicker is I did nothing to this bow other than throw on a couple of 1/2 hush pups and beef up the serving with floss for my nocks along with tying in a nock locator where the prior owner had the brass one.
The sherwoods for my main bow Hummingbird L/B fit the bow to a T. Broadheads and all. This bow will be in the field with me this year. Just felt a heed to share.

That is a very good looking bow. I talked to Chris last night, he is putting a one piece that he made for me in the mail this morning. I'll post pictures when it gets in.
