American Leathers Archery Glove
« on: April 22, 2012, 10:12:00 AM »
Thought I would toss this topic out there. I am in the market for a new glove since my old one is wearing out fast and making my ring finger tip super sore when I shoot. Does anyone shoot the American Leathers glove? I am looking at them and considering the Cross Over. I like leather, not sure about these gloves.  :archer2:
Northern Mist to the core. Archery is meant to be simple. A stick, a string, a shaft and meat on the table.

I'll give you my opinion but first, there have been a lot of threads on this.  In the "Search" function, type crossover, without any space between the words searching the Pow Wow section.  One of the posters was the prototype maker and some of us live near A.L. and are friends.  This post would be more visible on the Pow Wow and would me more appropriate there.

I started out with elk Big Shots (one was for a spare) and tried the Crossover when it came out.  Didn't like it at first but once broken in, it IS my go to glove.  The release is very smooth and the stalls will protect your fingers.  Quality is great as are the folks who own this company.  Give John a call or email him.

This "equipment" question would get more and better results and answers on the "Pow Wow" rather than here in the "Shooter's Form Forum."
