Bear Hunting in Wisconsin
« on: May 04, 2012, 11:06:00 AM »
I know I am a bit early on this, but I just applied for my preference point.  Currently I have 6 points, well 7 now.  I will put in for a harvest tag for the 2014 season with 8 points which pretty much guarantees me a tag.  Since I live in MO I am looking for an outfitter, hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Scott

Scott,
Which zone are you looking at hunting in?  Are wanting to hunt Bait or Dogs?

I figure I can get a tag in either zone A or zone D.   Zone B I might be a preference point short.  I picked an even year cause baiting starts first, just figured on hunting over bait, but I am not opposed to dogs.  A dog hunt might be fun.

I should be in the same boat for the 2014 season. Good luck in your search for an outfitter. If it doesn't work out for an outfitter PM me as I am actively searching for a lease in Zone A, maybe we could work something out.
