... one of the Big Foot Sasquatch T/D recurves?  I have started saving my pennies and this is the one I seem drawn to most.  I don't have nearly enough knowledge to know what I would want when I ordered one, but I have a while to think on it while I save up.

Those of you that read page 22 of this topic  http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=085255;p=22
know I have my own history with sasquatches and maybe even a little score to settle.

Anyway, if they shoot half as good as they look I will be in love.  His site says they are pretty new so there aren't that many in circulation.  Any first hand info would be appreciated.

Mark,

Here a good thread to read about some of Kirks latest work and what go into a Big Foot creation.

I went through that one.  Sure gives a fellow that is looking at one some ideas of what work and skill is involved.  Wow.

Thats a great story!  Dang squatches!    I can't comment on the Take down bows, but I bought the one piece that he made for John and I can tell you it really shoots awesome.  I have only had it a few days and have only had the chance to shoot a couple hundred arrows, but it is very smooth and really fast, it also is very unique in appearance and you can just feel the quality! I saw a couple post from the gentleman that had the 2 piece made for him and I am pretty sure he was equally impressed.  Good luck saving, I am sure you will be glad you did.

Jeff you lucky dog, I wish I could have checked that one out before it left Michigan. Please tell me if you are ever bringing it anywhere close by like Comptons. I may be coming to Texas this fall, I'll ping you if the hunt comes together. BTW, my TD is freakishly awesome. I won't go into the weeds with details here, but there is more to this TD than meets the eye.

Mark, if you haven't already called Kirk you should do it. After talking to him you might decide on a little different bow than you are thinking about today. For example he said he'd build me the 56" Yeti I originally asked for but after educating me about bows and his particular design I went to a 60" Sasquatch and I couldn't be happier.

Kirk is a good guy to deal with.

Bullie....This thread had a lot to do with me ordering the Sasquatch T/D recurve.

Thanks Thom,  if I am ever in your neck of the woods, I will hollar for sure, and if you make it this way be sure and let me know, I would love to see your bow side by side,  Jeff
