Good job Ralph.  I haven't even had time to look for turkeys yet, much less hunt.

I'm not smart enough to do multiple pics in a post. Here's a bit more detail of my Sheepeater!

Riser is Osage, handle is rattan. By the way the back is Bacote with an Osage accent strip in the handle section.  [/IMG]

Way to go Ralph, beautiful bird. I wish we had a turkey season here in Nova-Scotia. Beautiful bow.

Nice bird, Ralph!  And a good looking bow as well!

I head off to the Ks homestead this next week to try my hand at some gobblers.

...Shane

Hey Ralph--could you shoot me a pm with KsChas's email addy (lost it)?  I've got a question about some older bear recurves for him.  Tried to pm through the KBA site with no luck.

Wasn't a lot to it. Ambush by a water hole. No calling, no decoys. Two came in and only one left. They always seem to stop by the waterhole on the way to the roost. I was there hidden away and the rest is history.

Curt, you figure out your bow yet? I shoot 3 under and am knocking 3/8 above. Shooting extremely sweet!

Ralph won't remember me but I remember him. It was several years ago at a MOJAM. They had a javalina going downhill on a wire. Buck a shot and the winner won the pot or a portion of it. Ralph won several of them with a selfbow he made.

Quite a self bow make too...........
