I shoot 28.5 inch MFX 500 arrows with 75 gr insert and 175 - 200 gr heads out of my 52@27 Whip.

What's the centre cut on a lynx?

That is a sweet lookin bow TxAg.  Glad to hear you pulled the trigger on it.

Regarding shafts, I'm shooting GT's out of mine.

I'm shooting GT 15-35s with 200 up front for my 48#@29.   I shoot 35-55s with 250 up front for my recurve 55@29.  Finally I shoot 55-75s with 350 upfront for my 61@29 LB limbs.  All shafts are 30 inches  (or just shy of it).

GTs seem to shoot stiffer for me.  I tuned some Beemans but shot them less consistently out of my Lynx.

My word isn't gospel, so certainly take it with a grain of salt.

I'm shooting cx Heritage 150's, 30.5" long with 200 up front, 53 lbs. @28", I draw 30".

The center cut on a lynx is slightly past center, but not by much.

Beautifull bow, enjoy it !

i shoot mine (58#@ 31", shot at 31,5") with GT trad 75-95 full length, 50 gr long aluminium insert and 250 gr point. I changed the shelf material for a thick leather one but let the window leather plate and switched for an SBD 10 strand string with wool wrap.

shot some easton st excel 400s today using a standard 20gr insert and 175gr head. 30.5" long totaling 488 gr.  they flew much better....i'd like to go heavier, though.

i should be receiving some 200gr and 225gr heads shortly and will give those a go.

bow is currently at 1/2" nock and 7 1/4" brace
