I have hunted three times with Nickie in North Florida for hogs and I have mixed feelings.
The property is loaded with hogs. It is stand hunting over feeders on cattle raising land. He will assign you and your friends to an area with stands to accommodate all of you. Mostly ladder/hang ons well within traditional archery distances.
Great looking land full of palmetto bushes and normal habitat for that area, really unique.
The downside is he only allows you to kill males. Thirty hogs may come in but by the time you can positively identify a male in the squealing, twisting herd of hogs, they are gone.
He only usually hunts one weekend per month so the hogs are not pressured (and in my opinion) could allow one "any" hog per hunter.
Guides will help you retreive your hog, and will skin and quarter for a price if you desire or you may use the lighted skinning rack, with water, and they will take care of the remains.
Camping at the land is beyond primitive so we always stayed 20 minutes away at the hotel, nice but not real cheap. We packed four guys in one time( two beds, couch and cot) to keep the cost down.
Nickie and his guides are good guys and easy to deal with. Bookkeeping was not his strong suite and I would make sure they have your money and know you are coming.
Things may have changed as I have not been there in the last 3 years.
I would go every year if I could shoot at least one hog regardless of sex but that is just my personal thoughts.
He stays pretty booked up and a lot of return customers.
