WOW! I am just catching up to this story! Way to go my friend. It takes big ones to reach your hands down in that muddy water  :)

Thanks for the pic and good luck in Ryan-Land next week. I am jealous mate

Thnx Mike.  Wish you were head'n up there with me too.  I could use the conversation on that drive and splitting the gas would not be a bad thing either....

What a great time I had with Brian and Steve. Its always fun to see rookies get started noodling, the look and questions you get when trying to get grown men to conquer their fears is pretty priceless.

I believe they were pretty happy with their catch, and even the ones that got away. We don't string these fish, YOU face off with these beasts all on your own when you get your hands on it, the fight to get it to dry land is the fun for me and makes the best video. Steve crashing and almost loosing a big one is pretty good, but I bet he has a nice bruise on his elbow from that one.

Brian getting to truly experience the sheer power of an "ANGRY" fish was worth the price of admission....video evidence to come.

I will do my best to get a video compilation put together of some of the best parts, but cant promise it will be this week, it takes time to sort through the huge number of data to find the best screams, I mean parts.

Brian,

Ya big galut...that was some terrific writing and great humor with it...where was all that an Uncle Rays?

My face hurt reading all that! I was smiling that hard!

You big bear! That part of the arm flailing around like it was caught in a fan made that long surgically repaired rotator just cringe!   :scared:

Can't wait to see the video at 11!

Good story!

I'd have a hard time releasing them fine eating fish back into the lake.
