You're a lucky guy!  One of my favorite areas.  Pretty good numbers and some very nice deer.  Mixed cropland, crp and woodlots.  PM your ph # and we can talk.

I will start with a few questions. South, Central or North? Is it private or Shawnee National Forest?

The southern third is very hilly. The northern two-thirds is relatively flat.

The hilly south will have a lot of good mast producing hardwoods. The flat land will have crops. Most of the corn got put in early, so it will be picked well before early bow season.

Your tactics will probably be different if your in the forest or in a travel corridor along side a picked corn field.
