Public apology to Don Ward
«
on:
May 26, 2012, 03:44:00 PM »
I got in the beer last night and got a little out of hand by posting a slur on Don's thread about his new quiver.
Don's a good guy and I consider him a friend and both of us share a common bond as Ex paratroopers. My comment was totally uncalled for and I'd like to say that I'm sorry to Him, His wife and anyone else on here that might have been offended.
I have sent a personal email to Don saying as much and hope he will accept. Don Batten

Drink better grade of beer and this won't happen. Just kidding. It takes integrity and humbleness to know when you have made a mistake and able to own up to it.

Don, I accept your apology. I know what to much beer can do. It's forgotten and you are welcome to my adobe anytime. Besides, there are a lot of stories from the 82 Airborne to tell. Have I told you the one about the mix up in fuses used in air dropping heavy equipment? It was a mess.
Bjorn, you're exaggerating. It's only been about....47 years since I left. I wonder if they are still flying planes like the Caribou and C-119?

Don Ward,
Batman is correct and I to have to go remove a couple of my posts and since both of you served for our country this isn't the way to treat someone who protected us and I am ashamed of myself for those posts I made ...I am sorry as well Don and I'll go clean them up and hope you can forgive me as well...I don't drink anymore but sometimes you wouldn't be able to tell the difference....I should say both Don Ward and John Dill are both good craftsmen in making quivers rather they look simular or not both Men are making a product that protects our broadheads and keeping us from injuring ourselves...God Bless both of you for meeting our needs and for serving our country as well...Don just for the record I own an E.F.A. and a Kanati and use both...
