You can hum Streisand if you like... ;)

This is a still-life if some things I like, things I use and make my life complete. I live to hunt, not the other way around...
Some stuff made by good friends, some bought from people who are sponsors here, and of course my new L.L. Bean Maine hunting shoes!  :)

So, what do you have in your still life?

Cary,
Nice stuff.  Sometimes it is nice to just sit back and look over the things that mean so much to us.
Which boots did you go with? (Height, style, etc.)

Tim,

10" uninsulated Maine hunting shoe, I have a pair that are 23 years old...bout time for a new pair, they are real nice, and I'm good for another 25 I'm sure!  ;)  ;)

Nice deer in the top pic John, is it a doe, it looks pretty big.

I'm sure that Julie probably did it first, But I've only heard the other version..I'm always humming it though when I"m going through my "good stuff", then again, Deena Carter does a great job on the song:plus she looks pretty danged fine! lol

Yeah Cary its a big doe,on that hike with Kate we saw lots of deer and we noticed they were following us.we soon realized that people were unwisely feeding them.

just by waving my glove they would come really close to investigate.

I hunt there in the fall and they don't behave like that(nor would I want them to)

Frank, thanks for the nice comment .

Since others referenced the Julie vs. Barb debate I admit I saw Sound of Music so many times, I'll ALWAYS think of Julie as the "owner"of that.  I had to send my apolgies to Big Dog by PM. Hopefully all saw my banter in the light hearted tease it was intended...

These are such neat pics, folks. Keep em coming.
