This knife is forged from Japanese L6 saw steel. I used oak for the handle and finished it with raw beeswax and lard. Miss Yvette ( known here as Wood Elf) is smiling at me now.
I will post the photos as soon as photo bucket gets back on line

Did you know that Yvette means "daddy's little bow(feminine) in old french? Yves the male name means "bow"
