Auction excitment.........
« on: May 30, 2012, 10:49:00 PM »
I'm the proud winner of a Custom to my specs longbow from Chad Holm of Holm-Made Traditional Bows. This is going to be great have Chad build me another longbow to go with the longbow and recurve that I already have from him. I want to thank Chad for donating the bow build to the St,Jude's auction. It is an example of the folks that are on this site!!   :notworthy:    :notworthy:

Great folks here. I was out bid on some great arrows built by Snag. I put a good bid on them before my girls B-day party, but saw I missed out.  :(  When we returned home. 2 hours diff between Eastern and Mountain time. Shucks!

Look on the bright side. You can still order the same arrows from snag at half the price of your bid helping out snag who made a generous donation and then just donate the rest of the money outright to st Jude's . You get what you wanted you give snag work and most important help the kids with the winners bid and the extra you would have paid.

I own two of Chad's bows. Not only is he a delightful human, he makes a terrific bow!

Tracy, I sent you a pm. Let's make this work for St.Jude's kids and for you.

Thanks for the bid, Ron.  I just got back online tonight.  I was off line due to a tower or something being down the last week.  I missed the whole auction.  Anyway I'm looking forward to building the unique bow we talked about.  Chad

Talked to Chad about the bow build last night....this is going to be really neat. Chad is going to make a real unique longbow for me, something that you just don't see everyday. When it's done I will get some photos up to show his handy work and craftsmanship!!     I'm excited!!
