Thanks for all the great tips/ideas guys!!!  I have some time to decide and since I already have the PVC and the bazooka tube, I may just go ahead and keep it one piece!!!

THANKS AGAIN!!!

Place them in a 4" PVC pipe with  a screw in end,  For air travel put the above in a ski bag. All airlines know what to do with a rosignol bag....

Google Hatchie Bottom gun sling. (blocked for me, so cant retrieve pic)
It's 2 neoprene "loops" and attaches to each headrest. It's made for guns, but I can carry two recurves in it no problem.

ETA oops, didn't realize how long a bow it was.

Home made PVC tube with end caps or an adjustable fly rod case in the bed of my truck when traveling from home to hunt location. Inside an unstrung Kathy Kelly longbow case with quiver opening between the seats of my truck or on the back seat when traveling between stand sites or camp. I stick to longbows 66" or less in length for ease of use. When flying, I have an assortment(4)of TD, two piece longbows to choose from. These go in a TD soft case and in my duffle bag or suitcase surrounded with clothing for protection. Hope this helps.
