Below is a link to a National Geopgraphic film clip (trailer) on wildlife in the Americas. Toward the end of the trailer is a clip of elk calves "fighting" over a water hole captured on a game camera. Thought it was pretty interesting.

That footage was captured by one of our very own Trad Gang members CO_Bowhunter.

The whole show airs on June 11th.

They're just playing like they are the one of the big boys. Funny how that one youngster runs through the wallow and keeps going! haha He was showing the one standing his ground that he could do it...just didn't want to stick around and face him...haha
I've seen them play in standing water out if a meadow, kicking up water at each other. Playful and delightful animals.

Great capture! Thats a great wallow! Funny how there were No cows around, never saw one anyway.
