On your link- notice the knife sharpener in the "header" of the ad. That is what I use. (Though I hold the sharpener on the bench and pull the head through it. Similar to the broadhead ad pic)

Don't know about the broadhead system, but if the carbide blades are the same as the knife sharpener, it would be a good tool.  (call them!)

I actually touch mine lightly a few times on ceramic crock sticks after I use the knife sharpener- really hones the edge. Then I strop a bit on cardboard.  Not surgical, but razor sharp for sure.

Also- for smaller, bleeder type blades I just lock the blade in a vise-grip pliers and work it.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

Thanks to this thread I went out to Ace Hardware yesterday after work and purchased an Accusharp.  I first called Accusharp to find out which of their sharpeners would work for my new Grizzly single bevel broadheads.  They told me to get their "Garden Sharp Tool Sharpener" model designed for single bevel blades.  It's got a vertical guide that the non-bevel side of the broadhead rests against and an angled carbide blade for the bevel side.  The guide & blade are reversable for either left or right bevel broadheads.  Extremely light weight and inexpensive.  I paid $9.

I must say that I've been using the KME knife sharpener for about a year and am really happy with it.  I finished sharpening 6 of my new Grizzlies a few days ago and they are really sharp.  But this thread piqued my curiosity to find out if an Accusharp could compare to my KME.  I applied 15 light pressure strokes of the Accusharp to one of my unsharpened Grizzlies.  Curls of steel came off easily with each pass of the Accusharp.  The angle of the carbide sharpening blade is perfect as it only sharpened the first 1/32" of the broadhead edge.  It felt REALLY sharp at this point.  I could feel a nice even burr on the unbeveled side of the broadhead so I hit it with two very light strokes of my ceramic stick and it removed the burr easily.  Then I stropped it 10 times on a piece of leather.  It was now razor sharp and it only took a couple of minutes to complete.  Comparing it my KME sharpened broadheads I must say that the Accusharp produced a sharper edge at a fraction of the time and effort.

I then applied the Accusharp to a KME sharpened Grizzly and it sharpened it to an even sharper edge in only 10 light strokes.

I couldn't believe how cheap, easy and fast the Accusharp was to use.  I'm a believer now!  I wish I would have discovered this tool years ago.  Thanks again to the contributors to this thread.  This is what I love about TradGang.com.

Their web site shows the replacement blades fitting ALL their sharpeners except ShearSharp. SO ... I would say they are all the same just marketed for different folks (ie: fishermen, hunters, gardeners, etc.)

The broadhead sharpener has a built in broadhead wrench ... if you use those things.  ;)
