Compare/advice: Selway Lil Mag & Griffin
« on: June 07, 2012, 07:56:00 PM »
I'm looking at selling my Lil Mag for a Griffin - both same length (60"), same poundage (45@28). I'm thinking the Griffin may shoot a little sweeter, and looks like the grip shape may fit a bit better.
No opportunity to try the Griffin; looking for opinions from fellow TG'ers on what differences I might expect. Thanks in advance for feedback.

Have never heard of anyone unhappy with their Griffin.  John McCullough is a very fine bowyer.

I've had both and preferred the lil mag.  It seemed a bit faster, and was more forgiving for me.  I really liked the Griffin, but never shot it as well as the Mag.  Both were quiet and well made (maybe the Griffin was a little better in that regard), though.
