If you're shooting Fast Flight, start at 7 1/4 and gradually move up to 7 1/2.  You'll hit the sweet spot somewhere in there.

Tusker, I'm not sure where you are measuring from, but my Tip is an older one and likes 8-8 1/4 to the deepest part of the grip.

My TD likes 8 1/4, and my one piece likes it at 8 1/2.  Both are 60".

i shoot my tip w/ dacron and the best BH is 7 5/8"-7 3/4". the silvertip is very forgiving and seems to shoot very well w/ a wide range of BH. some BH's are a little quieter and others a little faster but i think the differences are subtle... my 2 cents

7 5/8" is perfect on my 62" dacron.

My son and I each shoot 60 ff bows and both are braced at 7 3/4.

My 62 FF is the quitest at 7 5/8.  It shoots well between 7 1/4 up to 8 but 7 5/8 seems to be where it really tunes in there for me.

Tim said 7 3/4 and that is what I had set my 60" ff brace height and it shoots perfect and quite.

I have 2 62" STs. Recommended BH for first (1999 vintage) is 7 1/2 to 7 3/4", other (2007 bow) 7 1/4 to 7 1/2".
