Fish Skin Backing
« on: June 13, 2012, 09:35:00 PM »
Fellas had a guy ask me about backing a bow with fish skin.  I have never done anything but snake skins.  He was wanting to leave the scales on and put the finish over them.  He is using the skin off a walleye.  Will it work or do the scales need to come off?  Seems to me the scales should come off.  Coach
