Nocking point
« on: June 17, 2012, 11:59:00 AM »
Getting a new string and wanting a string nock point. On my old string I have a brass nock point and it wears my glove. I have never tied a nock point and don't know what to use or how to tie. Any info would help and pics also if you can. Thanks

Check out the how to section here. There is a nock-along in there.

I double over dental floss, and tie it until it's large enough to make me happy, then burn it.

If you have several different dental flosses, check and see which one melts best.

I prefer mint flavored....

That's my method.
Works good.
I find it simpler than the other ways.

You sure don't need to go 10 knots though.
Especially if you're using heavy serving.

That's the way that I do it too.

I use a "ten knot knot" above and below my arrow. Google it and I'd bet you can find it.

Well, I was planning to post a pic, but I can't seem to get on Photobucket........Hmmm...that's a first.
