I had to photograph them since I gave each a new grip.

What do you use to bump out the shelve like you did , I have it on my Huron and it makes a world of difference.

Yes, it is, hands down the best Hill style bow I have ever shot.

Latigo leather,
(the type of leather used for holsters),
built up, gluing two wedges, together. Shaving, with a sharp razor, the angle of the glued wedge, so that the wedge does not cause a bump in the grip area.
When you grip the bow, you should not feel a wedge.
I dislike those wedges when they cause a bump in the grip. That is not necessary.

If any of think to replace your grips this might help.
The suede leather is sold by "oz." description. The higher the # the thicker the suede. I used 4oz. thickness suede. Some of the grips I peeled off to replace were thinner suede. Maybe 3-3.5 oz. Thinner suede allows you to feel the bow wood more. I opted for a bit of cushion. Next suede I will try will be 3.5 oz. thickness. Here is a chart of suede thickness/"oz.";
1/64" 1oz suede
1/32" 2 " "
3/64" 3 " "
1/16" 4 " "
5/64" 5 " "

Studying the lacing picture on the Howard Hill Archery site got me to copy the lacing pattern.

I put the grips on with barge cement. (some bowyers used Duco to put the leather on .... whew!!)
It took me a long time to do the grips.
